CAUTION: THIS IS NOT A TSUNADE RP!!
You'll be able to figure it out at the end. X3

A young woman stood out on a hill one fine fall day, hair pale as sunlight streaming out on fingers of the wind. Pen and paper were in her hands as she stared at the stone that stood as a memorial for all the fallen, brave shinobi of Konohagakure.

Her belly was round and full with child; he it was that brought her out here, for she would be writing a commemoration of his mother and father. How appropriate, this place, to prepare a living letter to a child yet to be born, from a mother fatally ill.

This woman, barely 22, sat herself on the granite stone, bitter gladness filling emerald eyes. She thought to her boy, hands now free of pen and parchment, ran along her swollen belly. 'My boy, never forget me, even if you don't remember me..' And she set to work.

My Dearest Son,
Long years have I dreamed of holding you in my arms. And I just may, if I have my way. I'll struggle to remain in this world, if only to see your eyes, and feel your precious little body next to mine. With your birth, I will give you my life, and so will you be stronger. I will give to you my determination, and stubborn will. From your father, undoubtedly his thickheaded-ness and ever-caring heart. You will be a person to look up to, I know this to the very depths of my being, someone all will admire, and, perhaps, you'll even gain the reputation of my dear husband. Would that you gain our strengths, and none of our weaknesses.
Hard times will be known, but I know in my heart of hearts you will overcome them and become a better man; your father's blood runs through your veins, after all; nothing will truly harm you or keep you down.
Your father is a great man, and for every great man there stands an unfaltering foundation. Find her, and never let her go.
You will be blessed, my boy. I will always be by your side, for I love you deeper than the ocean.

Little did she know that her own stubborn eyes would indeed lay on the child she loved so dearly, would see the mesmerizing colour that at first blinked confusedly back to her, then filled with the biggest, most beautiful smile she had ever seen. She would break down and cry then, not a week after her letter that will never be read was written. Within her tears was all the happiness of her short time in the world, and all of her life and love.

Before she could write down the child's name, the wind caught a hold of this tear-stained paper and danced away the white sheet, slipping with aspiring ease past her fingertips. Brimming green followed its path until it became too small to track amidst the swimming world, and she lowered her head to whisper his name to the wind in hopes that, some how, some day, it would be engraved on the paper as it was in her heart. And her tears fell.
