Wow this week has been moving along slowly. STAR testing is as usual, a giant bore. Yesterday was the Life Science & Language Arts part and today was the Science (for me, Biology) and History. Ha, totally bombed the history part, but it doesn't matter anyways.
My reg. is really fun and had nice subs. After everyone finished, half of us would get together and play taboo (which I brought in btw). Even my reg teacher joins in and plays. Also, my Eggo Waffle cereal is pretty popular Lmao.
One of the highlights:

LMAO! I was laughing my ass off, it was hilarious.
Now time to explain my title for this entry. I AM SO ADDICTED TO THE DAVINCI CODE!!!! It's so exciting, everytime I open the book I don't want to close it. I can't read fast enough to contain my excitement. I've been reading it every chance I get. The STAR testing is helping with that, I'm on chapter 23 or 25 after my third day starting the book. I want to finish it by the time the movie comes out and I don't think that's going to be a problem. Hahah, but yeah. I was reading up on the movie and Tom Hanks is playing Robert Langdon?! I didn't picture him looking like Tom Hanks, I was thinking more of a Pierce Brosnan. But what do I know about casting people anyways, Tom Hanks has the acting skills.
Well today I find out from Melinda that supposedly the pre-read for The DaVinci Code is Angels & Demons by the same author. I HATE it when I read books in the wrong order. Like for example, who would read HP5 before HP4?! You lose valuable information! Well that's ok, I just wanna finish DaVinci before the movie comes out then I'll know what's happening. Ugh I totally tried out the whole PHI thing if people know what i'm talking about. It's just a side story that has nothing to do with the plot so I don't think it'll spoil anything if you're planning on reading it.
Well PHI is based on the idea of "Divine Proportion." It occurs in nature, the magic number is 1.618. This is the universal proportion found in nature. It is known as PHI. The proportion of female bees to male bees in EVERY hive? PHI. Sunflower seeds grow in opposing spirals. What is the ratio of each rotation's diameter to the next? PHI. I didn't believe all of this either, but you can test it out on yourself!
Your height DIVIDED BY length from hip to floor = PHI
Length from shoulder to fingertips DIVIDED BY length from elbow to fingertips = PHI
Length of a finger DIVIDED by length from finger joint = PHI
I was so amazed by this for some reason. And me? I'm Agnostic, verging on Atheist.
