So I've decided that this year I will not make any resolutions and instead just live my life however I want to. We are basically half-way through senior year! I don't know about you, but I am SOOOOO excited to graduate.

So my new year was spent with Julie and Serena. First Julie and I took the bus to Serena's house where we started to watch Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (which I had seen before). Josephine came later on and drove us to the desert place on 7th that EVERYONE went to. Stupid waiter mixed up our orders >:O Then she drove us back. We bulked up in our clothing and headed down to the beach. We made it just in the knick of time & counted down along with the people who were having bonfires. There were some who set off their own fireworks. I caught some of it on video. We stayed there a little longer, calling people and wishing them a happy new year. I never realized that lying on that ledge and looking up at the stars was so beautiful. Oh how I wish I lived near the beach.

Oh, and I saw a shooting star! I made my wish :) After a little bit we ventured back to Serena's house. Julie got picked up by her dad and I stayed over. I woke up this morning and Serena made me clam chowder mmmmm. We watched King Arthur and then I decided to head home so I could catch up on my homework -__-"

Here I am, not doing homework lol. I hope everyone has a GREAT year. 2008! It's our graduation year! I never thought we'd reach this day. One more (hopefully fun-filled) semester and we'll be done with Lowell forever.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

So I realized that the cinematography in Kill Bill Volumes 1&2 are brillllliant! I'm watching it on tv right now. It might be one of my fav movies just because of the ways that Tarintino shot the movies. That's saying a lot because I hate movies with gratuitous blood and guts everywhere. But in this case, they would def. not be as interesting if it wasn't there. It follows the old fashioned horror/action thriller theme and actually shows the real stuff. I love it! Also, his use of music is absolutely PERFECT.

new year, school, friends
