Arrival in Busan
Hello!!
This is me, showered and well-fed, tired but content, sitting in a cool breeze coming through the 13th floor of our cute guesthouse in Busan, Korea.
We left Germany at 10:45 a.m. from Frankfurt airport and landed in Helsinki, already completely exhausted. I hadn't had enough sleep for at least 5 nights before that, making a record of a sum of 4 hours in the last two nights. However, planes are not built to sleep in....
Helsinki is a rather small, nicely built airport with quite a few shops for its size, but we ended up lounging around on three odd chairs at the edge of the boarding gate area to Seoul.
After 3 hours we boarded our next plane and spent another 8 sleepless hours to Incheon airport in Korea. Then I rented a cell phone (I can now be reached under the number (+82) [0] 10-8071-5764) and we got on a bus to Busan.
Another 5 hours later (plus another 40 minutes subway) we FINALLY got to our guest house, a cute set of appartments where the rooms are filled with bunk beds on the 13th floor of a tall appartment building.
We went to eat and buy groceries and had our first mishaps speaking Korean but all in all we spent 30 hours awake now and I for one am ready to go to bed...
