just finished watching stay.

what an amazing movie. first blush impressions provoke me to say things like "this is one of my new favorite movies." does this pass the "michael would buy this so he can rewatch it whenever the mood so strikes him" test? yes, yes it does.

i'm not really in a mood to do my own review now especially since i've read Read more... )

ooh, i've never heard of that movie, but it sounds super interesting! so interesting, in fact, that uri is about to haul down to the video store to pick it up! i'll letchu know what i think.

haha, i didn't!

the movie wasn't bad! i found myself thinking that the director could learn a thing or two from david lynch--kind of like, yeah this is pretty good, but david lynch does it about ten times better, haha. i think it could have been a little cleaner. but yeah, it was definitely worth watching! and i think it's one of those movies that will probably get even better with each viewing, because you'll pick up on things you didn't notice before.

haha, yeah, i was reminded a little of mulholland drive but i want to give the director credit that he had a different purpose from lynch's in mulholland drive, in that he fully intended for the viewer to "get" the movie by the end, as opposed to leaving viewers totally unsure as to what the movie really was. but i'm glad it gets teh lisarbean approval, even if it is a mild one hehe.
