Bulwark is just so bittersweetly adorable. And Barricade is adorable. And Bulkhead just makes me want to cuddle and play with him. And Cardinal is amusing in his zen-ness. And Interceptor likes breaking CPUs, apparently.

Now, as amusing as Barricade's reaction is, I just can't help but think that Prowl's will be even better as he tries to process just how he has a brother sparked after his genitor died.

ETA: And pale optics! Is that a sign of them channeling Primus? Sunstorm's optics went pale when he commented that the Windbond was holding, after the crash on Earth. Also, does Cardinal have a retractable visor? You mention optics most times, but in the chapter where they board the shuttle, you describe a red visor...

Mm. This family is an entertaining one, yes. Prowl is... going to find it interesting to be read in on the family history. Yes.

Yes! Pale optics mean shenanigans! Who's you overlord? XP (Cardinal has those... uni-optic sunglasses... thing... like Animated!Prowl has.)

...I can't... even be sad that Bulwark offlined. He was so happy to do so! Prowl's reaction will be quite the interesting thing to see, though... and I do feel sorry for Barricade. I do find myself wondering just -what- the mark was, though, for the size...

Heh. I figured people would wonder who Bulkhead's... "other parents" were. I ask you to consider who, exactly, is wandering around with Senate level clearance and an unpurged splice-cache of Interceptor's code. Go on. Think about it. XD

I'm glad that in the end Bulwark didn't just fade away like your first said but that instead he went out happy and with a bang.
Inceptor is a sneaky one and apparently Seekers really have a problem with staying dead XD

I wonder now how Prowl will react to this little piece of news and when an adult/Youngling Bulkhead will finally show up to shock the Bots.
Also, Bulwark said "they"... so does that mean that Inceptor possessed a whole gestalt? My first guess would be the Constructicons. Now, that family meeting I'd like to see XD
Also, it seems to me as if Bulwark was more or less aware that Interceptor hadn't moved on yet. True or not true?

Exactly! Canon says I can do it! XD Ghosts are a thing in G1 affiliated universes!

*coughs* Things with Prowl will happen... yes. And Bulwark... hmm. Bulwark was hoping that Interceptor hadn't left him, and Cardinal's flock is a bit more mystical than most. Yes. ^-^

Well, I guess one could say that Prowl's lack of humor came from his flight-capable Genitor. Hell of a trick Interceptor pulled.

Kind of a sad beginning for Bulkhead's life, and I do think Prowl will definitely be crashing. ^^

Ha! Prowl has a sense of humour, it's just that it - like many other things that require free expressions of emotion - are locked down under a medical program. It's not that Prowl isn't as tricksy as his Genitor, he just has a medical condition! XD

Bulkhead is kinda chill about it all, really. His Progenitor and his older brother are there for him growing up, and he's mostly under lock-down because of the war anyway. Prowl is... probably going to have to pretend that he didn't hear a few things, just for his own peace of mind. XP

Excellent story~! Barricade & the medic's bafflement and the Cardinal's quiet Acceptance make for such a great contrast.

And the way Bulwark got to go was nice--sees his two kids safe with his dad & is then greeted by his sparkmate. If only everyone could be so blessed. Looking forward to seeing more about Bulkhead.

Thanks! That's what I wanted to hear. ^-^

Well, I needed Bulwark to go out doing something rather than just... not getting up one day. And Bulkhead... isn't really speaking to me right now, but we'll see what happens.
