If I read this correctly, Rachet can't take the two to a youngling center (them being in Adult shells and all) , so he's just become the caretaker of a pair of troublemakers (and being bonded to Wheeljack, I forsee a lot of CPU-aches in his future... evil snicker)
And Interceptor is the Genitor of Barricade (Squeee... Prowl got an older Brother), now I really wand the two of them to meet.

fjhgduhdu squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Twins! This made me a very happy bunny. And the description of them reacting to Ratchet, ahhhh, perfectly fitting the feral nature of two who have done nothing but fight their entire lives.

Hahah, and this si how Ratchet becomes their father figure, poor Wheeljack when Ratchet turns up with these two tagging along.
