*Robin can feel the genuine care in his voice and wants to tell him to leave again and angrily push him away before she could do worse to him, but at the same time she is too fond of him to be unkind. With a wave of her hand she comes up with a distraction. She takes stock of what is happening around the hotel and puts it together with knowledge

*Sanji turns around.*
"Oh Marimo...weren't you and Luffy enjoying each others company?"
-----------
"Ah, yeah. But he...must've gotten lost or something." *Zoro shrugs and walks closer to him, trying to keep his eyes from locking on the man's lips.* "Where are you headed?"
-----------
[Uh...]
"Just exploring the city since we'll be here a while."
-----------
"Want company? Wifey shouldn't be wandering around all alone."
-----------
*Sanji's face turns an interesting shade of red and to his dismay he isn't sure if it's embarrassed pleasure or if he's pissed at the name and insinuation. He had, for a moment, completely forgotten their fake arrangement.*
"YOU...you...bastard! I can take care of myself, you know!"
*He pauses. He would like to spend some time with Zoro though.*
"But...if you're done with Luffy I wouldn't mind you tagging along...I guess."
-----------
"Heh." *Zoro smirks a little at Sanji's face coloring but decides not to push the teasing in case the cook changes his mind. He really does...want to be with him. (A feeling he quite honestly hopes will dissipate once the novelty of this...thing with the other man wears off. ...if it wears off.)* "All right."
-----------
[Well I can't really continue on my quest...but spending some time with him won't be too bad, right?]
*Sanji lights a new cigarette and shakes collects his thoughts.*
[I'll take him away from the more seedy part of town. Maybe back to that place for free booze?]
"Come along then."
-----------
*Zoro obeys like a good husband and walks along with him, trying not to overthink things like ~conversation~ and most especially trying not to kiss him right then and there.*
Reply
*Sanji brings them in a loop around the town, keeping an eye out for the seedy section of town he may revisit later. To his surprise there IS no seedy section. The entire island seems to be squeaky clean in it's propriety. That is a little...odd.
Sanji's shoulder brush into Zoro's and he resists the biting comment he would have made a few days ago and swaps it out for chit chat to hid the embarrassing awkwardness he suddenly feels.*
"I won the cooking competition, by the way."
Reply
"M'not surprised." *Zoro says casually as he accidentally-on-purpose bumps against Sanji's shoulder again.*
Reply
"Really? You never seemed all that impressed before..."
*He tries not to make it sound like an accusation and adds a bashful grin as he bumps his shoulder back against Zoro, wanting even more contact then in public allow comfortably.*
Reply
*Inwardly pleased with the contact, he stepped closer, returning the bump again, gentler.*
Reply
*Sanji says out loud before he thinks it through. He makes sure he's looking away.
[You're pretty good at it...]
Reply
*His cheeks colored just slightly, even as he spoke the words; he wasn't exactly used to being so forward. His eyes were averted as well.*
"But I'll...make an effort, I guess."
Reply
*Sanji risks a look over as he unconsciously licks his lips.*
"When you make an effort...the results are usually impressive. No mater what you do."
[Pisses me off sometimes, how easy he makes it seem. But having any of that attention on me? Makes my blood simmer...but it's a lot of pressure too.]
Reply
"Yeah, well...I always aim to do my best."
*Zoro glances at him, a heated glint in his eyes, but doesn't look for long, trying to ignore the urge to attack the cook right there in public. Doesn't really help that they're walking so close now that their hands brush together every now and then.*
[ooc: whoops forgive me if i accidentally use past tense ;;]

*Sanji says with conviction, a highlight reel plays in his mind of all the fights and challenges he's seen Zoro put his all into. There were parts of that that annoyed him, the seemily poor planning. The jumping into the spotlight to be the hero. The random pangs of worry he secretly felt despite the confidence in the swordsman's abilities.
Sanji nearly jumps as Zoro's hand grazes the back of his. He wants to hold that hand but they would be seen. God the urge is nearly over powering and it's only clenching his palms into fists at his sides does he resist the temptation.*
[ooc: feel free to add stuff or take detours on my plot, I'm definitely not married to it. I'm not sure what they'll be doing in town. Either Sanji is going to get so wrapped up in thinking about Zoro he's going to get them lost for a change or they can go back to the hotel to nearly fool around.]
Reply
*It's too tantalizing, too close, and Zoro moves away just a step and attempts to swallow down his desire. Like there's any chance of that working. He sighs a little.*
"You're really irritating, you know that?"
Reply
"Trust me, marimo...the feeling is mutual."
*Sanji grumbles at the new distance between them.*
Reply
Reply
*The firey comeback dies in Sanji's throat at the sweetness of that.*
"Well it was damn irritation knowing you were out with someone else too. Even if it was Luffy. I didn't want you wondering around without me."
[And maybe I was a little jealous.]
Reply
"So you were jealous."
Reply
[Shit! Am I that obvious? Of course I am, I went to far.]
"Way to misinterpret, marimo. I just..."
*His mind goes blank as he tries to think of a decent lie, Zoro is smiling at him and he accidentally forgets to focus on the matter at hand.*
[When he smiles he looks even more handsome. Well when he smiles at me...]
