Bears.

So I actually enjoy writing in a panic and generally engineer Yuletide so that I am writing at threat level:bears, because I am an adrenaline junkie. However. I am also kind of behind on Absolutely Everything, at this point, so manufactured stress is not doing its job here.

Still, I think it'll happen. I have an outline, I am talking out some dialogue, I have been in worse places three days to deadline.

I just need to back away from the cutest little mini-fandom ever, which I have acquired this week: Check Please, the adorkable budding romance featuring an effeminate skater with mad pastry skills and an anxiety-ridden French-Canadian sports prodigy. And their wacky college hockey team. And pie. It's a coming-of-age, finding-your-family, masculinity-is-hard little webcomic and I kind of freaking adore it. There's some very charming fanfic, which is currently having its own holiday celebration. And it's one of those things wherein a fan has seized the means of production, so the main character has his own Twitter account, and there are doodled extras, and so on.

Eric Bittle and Jack Zimmermann will EAT YOUR LIFE, but as consolation you will have an incredibly flaky crust.

Anyway, back to Yuletide - which, since I just discovered this little fandom, is not a "Check, Please!" assignment.
