I tend to make a big deal about a lot of things. I don't do "subtle" most of the time. So let me tell you how it's an EXTREMELY BIG DEAL that I no longer crave coffee!!!!!!
OMG!!! I KNOW!!! BIG DEAL!!!
In fact, these days, coffee gives me a headache half the time. And makes my teeth hurt. AND, it's all thanks to his machine:
What IS that? At Microsoft, every kitchen has two of these machines. They're Starbucks machines that grinds and brews single servings of coffee for you. The coffee SUCKS. The coffee sucks so bad that it tastes like dirty socks. That didn't matter. We all needed coffee so much that we drank the gross coffee all day every day because it was FREE and it was very very accessible.
Everyone has a breaking point. When I wasn't drinking coffee, I was drinking the free Bigelow tea that sat in the kitchen. No one knows how long those tea bags sat there, which would explain their lack of flavor. Eventually, I gave in and bought tea to drink at work. I couldn't figure out how to bring my own coffee to work (because I seem to always forget that I have a French Press), so tea it was.
And you know what? I LOVE tea. I always kinda have, but I now love it WAY MORE than coffee. Smelling coffee gives me a headache and toothache. But tea.... mmmm tea.
Speaking of which, I need to find some really strong green tea. I love the taste of green tea, but the asian store has surprisingly wimpy green tea.
