Seattle is looking out the window, elbows on the sill, pouting with her chin in her palms.
The sound of cars splashing over puddles replace the sound of kids playing just outside our window.
The bright yellow of the sun on the flowery dresses have been replaced by the glowing street lamps and long shadows of bundled passersby.
Coffee and tea brings more than energy, they bring comfort.
Everyone else might feel defeated by the weather, but I feel like an old friend is back.
