Last House on the Left

So, I saw the origonal thanks to the always awsome and spiffy Maggy.  While a classic, it's...well, it didn't strike me as much.  Tonight I saw the remake.  While it kept some things the same, I was hoping for...I dunno, more gore.  Come on, with films like Hostel and Saw floating around, and the whole torture p0rn films being the big thing for awhile, and since this is/ was Wes Craven's baby, I was hoping it'd be..well...graphic.

Having seen the origonal, I have to say I did enjoy the remake.  I wish I could find my copy to really compare it, but from memory it was a very good and faithul remake/update.  The final scene changed.  In the origonal Mari's father chases Krug around with a freaking chainsaw...in the remake...well....

No spoilers, so here's a gerbil in a microwave.
