I got Spore yesterday. I am almost done with Tribe.

I have been taking a break from school and got back to writing, thanks to Helen! She gave me a great idea that I'm going to play with for my modernized version of the vampire chronicles.

I am getting a new Dell XPS laptop (please don't email me with "dell's suck" because my last Dell lasted for 3

Realistically, shitty reputation aside, most things will hold out if you just take care of them. Hell, this message is being brought to you courtesy of an 8 year old eMachines desktop. I WILL seriously say, though, that you got ripped off for that price, unless all those 0.00 lines are supposed to have prices (since I doubt they JUST charged you for the processor). Actually, without presuming (because I don't know what kinda laptop this is gonna be/used for), I'll say it LOOKS like you got ripped off from the look of the invoice.

Brandwise, Dell and HP are the shady ones/mixed feeling ones as far as several magazines go. Lately, I've been hearing about HP being the ones who are on the shit end of the stick, but like I said...it all boils down to keeping it maintained and clean. That being said, opening new stuff is like farkin' Xmas.

Well, good to see you're still alive, since I don't get on YIM that much. I'll try to hop on and see if you're lurkin', or if you're bored, I'm always on MSN. And now, I must flee to update my own!

We don't have ANYTHING locally. I will NEVER buy from officemax again- they only have HP's. I got a new HP with the same specs and it got the blue screen after all of the protection I put on it. Got my money back by getting past third party. (My speciality is spending money and bitching. Husband can vouche for that.)

I recently took up bead-working to eleviate the stress. I never thought putting something on a piece of wire would calm me down- but it does. Now I'm obsessed with beads. I'm surprised I'm still married?

I've made a necklace and a bracelet since getting my beading supplies yesterday. Wire-work, so it isn't exactly "easy".

I got my lap today so I'm psyched about it. Graphics look amazing. I wanted the 9K graphics card, but I saw nothing but bad reviews about it. Burned out to easy, etc.

Maintenance IS key to keeping a good computer, but it seemed like no matter how protected I made the HP it just died. Lol I gave up. Love the Dell.

I think I'll put the Cancer symbol on the front since it's pink. I dunno why, but I laughed my ass off at the thought of sitting in Starbucks with that on my computer.

I have a sick sense of humor lately...

That's not ALL I can do...but I'm not of legal ability to tell you about those things. Let's just say I haz mad b3d ski11z. That's good you're not paying for it, but someone's getting taken for a ride on this. I'd tell you about the deal I got, but there's a good chance you wouldn't want the size or weight of it.

Oh, I see. Gotta hate on my job, huh? Actually, if OfficeMax were burning to the ground, I'd purposely piss in the opposite direction to ensure nobody thought I was trying to put it out. In their defense, on behalf of my own tech selling skills, we don't just have HP. In fact, we've now got almost everything except Crapple and Dell. Not that there was any way of knowing, but if I'd of known you were in the market, I could've tried to help get you a good deal. I'm just a nice guy like that...plus I've been getting back into my "looking at tech shit while bored" phase.

I'm not surprised you're still married. Usually when you find the right one, it's a little bit harder than that to get rid of them. It's almost as hard as FINDING them in the first place, but everyone's got their deals.

Probably a fun fact to know, but beyond the Nvidida 9 series, they have the FX series, which I've heard are pretty goddamn amazing. Flaws aside, Nvidia still takes the pimp hand to ATI any day. I've personally got the 8700GT in my laptop, but I also have a load of other stuff in it that make it not for the faint of heart or weak of arms. Even with the card you have, it should still be able to handle some of the low to mid-range games with good settings, if you were gonna hybrid it out between work and play.

Sometimes, it's like the limbless fat kid in the ocean during a tropical storm - you can't save 'em all. I'll take a "hating everyone" standpoint and say that, given my second-hand experiences with the two, BOTH Dell and HP can suck a digiwang. Shit, I'm almost led to believe my safest bet is with this eMachine here. In fact, when it finally DOES die, it might have to be buried, as I've grown so attached to it, heh.

Sick senses of humor are often fueled by the outward stupidity of others. Exhibit A: coffee shops. Coffee shops are to retards like the underbelly of refridgerators are to cockroaches. I'm sure you'd get someone who, in a fit of spastic verbal diarrhea, would say something idiotic about our Zodialogical symbol, like, "ZOMFG iz a 69. Ur so durty!" Or, if society has plunged uni-nationally, you might get a text about it. I think I may have used up my morbid humor for today, so I'll just pissed at dingbats with cell phones.

I'll try to be on sometime tomorrow, but always on AIM and MSN. At almost 3am, I have some srs Animal Planet watching to do. You go have fun with your new happy box; If you've been wanting it as long as I'd wanted mine, I'm sure you're damn happy to finally possess it, and are quite deserving of it. If you're more like me, you probably won't let anyone even breathe near it for a week, lol.
