colleges + more
for those who care, i've heard from all the colleges i've applied to and these are the results:
mary washington: accepted with honors
v-tech: accepted
uva: waitlisted
vcu: accepted
wvu: accepted with a small scholarship
jmu: accepted
essentially everywhere i've applied, i've been accepted. *banana dance* as far as uva goes, i am not near, or even close to as near to upset as i was when i found out i was deferred. oh well, fuck em. i'm not gonna wait around for uva to tell me i'm good enough to attend their college, i got so many better options then a school that doesnt think i'm good enough. i really love mary washington and i'm gonna be visiting tech sometime over spring break (starts this upcoming thursday!)
despite that:
this morning i got up early and made it to school at 6:15 to sing with my school at arlington national cemetary for part of the cherry blossom festival. was cold, but fun and i got to miss spanish and most of tok, which is always a relief =P. the rest of the day was pretty easy, besides being drained and exhausted.
i got home and still felt really drained but i convinced myself to go biking with my brother. we biked 16.25 miles! i really pushed myself this time and damn, i feel goooood now. =) there's just something really calming about biking like that, and despite the fact that the wind was bitter, i had fun.
