obligatory update...
I haven't really felt into this since I came back to L.J. land.
'Just wanted to talk about my newest discovery, Amorphis. It's a band that I actually found on my own. -Typically, someone, a friend, lover, random stranger will introduce me indirectly to the music I listen to. Yet, this one is all mine! Their sound is like Pink Floyd with electronic, dark, gothy undertones. I love it. Although, some of their older stuff, before the new singer, was very death metal. -The cookie monster vocals that I rarely can stand unless the music just kicks ass. Anyway, it's nice to have a new band to get obsessed with that doesn't remind me of someone/place or time, YET....
I'm also starting to read, Taltos by Anne Rice.(Supposedly about witches.) Goddamn, her writing style bores the shit out of me! I hope it starts to pick up, very slow so far.
Wow, that really is all that I have to talk about right now. My life, relationship, work is all actually going great. That scares me. 'Guess I'll always be the type to sit and hold my breath until the bottom drops out!
