There are a lot of Glenn Beck fans in my extended family.

It's rather frightening in and of itself.

And if not a Glenn Beck fan, nearly every one of my relatives watches Fox News, religiously.

Can you imagine the face I'm making right now?

Really. It's just disturbing to me the hold a news channel seems to have over people.

I barely watch news anymore. Occasionally I watch clips from FOX, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, CBS, etc. Most of my news comes in written form via online newspapers or news sites. AP, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, NYT, Fox, BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, The Advocate, etc.

The fact that people seem to get most of their news from one source (and a source that is quite obviously biased to a high degree) really bothers me.

But I digress.

Home again.

Dog tired.

Yesterday, I did manage to finish

I enjoyed it a lot. Wonderful words and style. Was not really surprised about the twist to the plot, but it was handled in a way that kept it from being just outright cliched. And the plot up to the twist kept me entertained and even thinking about my NaNo premise. Some ideas may bubble up from that.

In other news: I have two more days of work and then I am off for the rest of the year.

Thank. Gods.

I need to decompress before I explode and leave little bits of me lying all over the house for Matt and the cats to find, like some kind of macabre Easter hunt.
