I went for years not finishing anything. Because, of course, when you finish something you can be judged. I had poems which were re-written so many times I suspect it was just a way of avoiding sending them out.

Certainly explains why I've had a finished and edited and critiqued short story draft sitting on my flash drive since last June and haven't submitted it yet.
And why I took a look over it a few weeks ago and changed a few more things...
And it's still sitting there.
