So, for the past two days: lots of food, The Dark Knight, It's a Bundyful Life, more food, gifts.
I'm sitting here right now--at my new desk--munching on leftover pita and hummus. Yum.
This year's gift giving yielded:
Aforementioned desk
Laser Printer
The Completed Illuminated Books of William Blake (Lovely!)
New bedding (shams, comforter, bed skirt, curtains)
Movies (Love Actually, Little Women (nostalgia, yay), Finding Neverland)
A cape/wrap thing lined in leopard print faux fur.
Socks! (Which I needed, badly. Need to buy shoes also.)
And a few other little odds and ends.
Doing laundry right now so I can put the bedroom stuff together. I've already got the curtains up and the bed skirt on as well as the pillows in the shams. It's very nice.
And today is my first official vacation day.
I go back to work on the 5th of January.
...It will come sooner than I want, I know.
