Pillows and (Post) Birthday Gifts
I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and rounded up two pillows. I couldn't decide so I got a semi-firm Sleep Standard and a Laura Ashley Extra Firm Support, both synthetic down. They're nice and fluffy and comfortable.
I haven't had new pillows in years. The one I've been sleeping on the most for the past fifteen years is a feather pillow from billeting at Spangdahlem. (There's no telling how old that thing is.)
I headed over the Barnes and Noble afterward to spend the $50 gift card from my parents.

I've mentioned before that I have a painting of her's hanging in my living room. (The Archangel Michael. I picked it up at the AZ Renn Faire in '02.) The art is lovely and I think the content will be very good for my Angel series.

Because, it's Froud and I can't pass it up. Some of my favorite images of his are in this book. (Not to mention most of the images from my Tarot cards in a larger size.) Yum.
