Do the Katrina Clap
Hey everyone, Sorry it takes so long to be able to update. I'm doing alright, we actually ended up going on vacation with my brother and all of his EverQuest friends.. So we're in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL. We were planning on coming back on Wednesday or Thursday of next week... but we don't know what's going to happen now with Rita and everything. Everything is flooding all over again..
In other news, I may stay in Osyka for a while when we get back... my dad had a thing, well, we don't know what it was but he stopped breathing and went unconcious. He is in the ICU at the Southwest Mississippi Medical Center in McComb, MS. He just got off the ventilator and woke up today. Thank god he's ok, it was really scary for a couple of days, the docters told up to prepare for the worst. But he's amazed them yet again, they dont know why he was unconcious or stopped breathing they think it had to do with his emphysyma (sp?) and the fact that he had started smoking since Katrina. So I'm not going back to work right away and if he stays at the hopsital I may stay in Osyka to be near him, the ranch is about 20 miles from the hospital, as opposed to the 4-5 hour drive from Brandon and I's apartment.
God this all just sucks so much.... but atleast we're all okay and my dad is better :). Those of you who knew thank you for your good thoughts and prayers :)
