So first of all: O(JTO)39wyhtgh*(y4w389HGVW OHMYFUCKFANIMEWASAMAZING.

Ahem... now that that's out of my system I'm gonna do a rundown of Fanime. This may be forever long, so that's your warning x)

Friday:

So we spent the night at Lindsey's house on Thursday and hung out. Played Ninja Turtles and Super Mario on her SNES and then crashed on her couch. We woke up at like 8 Friday morning and already had everything packed and in the car so we ate a quick breakfast and left at 8:40ish. We got halfway through town on our way to San Jose before we figured out that we left our pre-registration papers at her house. So we drove all the way back to get them, and then found out that we didn't necessarily need them x_x;. Listened to girly music, Utada Hikaru and the Random Ninjas the whole way there and only had to make a pit stop once in Salinas. We also found out that northerners don't know how to use blinkers and were nearly run off the road several times. I swear their blinkers only blink once before they turn them off while changing lanes on a four lane freeway (sometimes five). We got to San Jose at about noon which was perfect because that was our check-in time at our hotel. So after throwing all of our stuff inside I got changed and dressed as Gakuto and we headed out to the convention. It was a two mile walk, but it was actually a really nice walk and I had comfy tennis shoes thanks to my costume so I was fine. I felt wierd dressed up and heading to the con for the first time, but I always do and I got over it as soon as I saw other people dressed as we got closer.

It took us quite a while to get in on Friday because Wolf had to wait in line since he didn't pre-register, and when we got in we first went to the Artist Alley. I was kinda depressed by the fact that the only PoT stuff there were three buttons and three bookmarks, all Seigaku characters, but I didn't give up hope. Lindsey found some Nana buttons and she got me a button that says 'Boys suck but yaoi boys suck well.' Pretty awesome; I kept it pinned to my Hyotei uniform all weekend. Then we looked around the Dealer's Hall and while I still couldn't find much of anything I did find an Atobe CD and a Momo CD, both singles. If it had been Gakuto's I would've been sold, but I wasn't too interested. I ended up buying some Strawberry Mochi and a Milk Tea. As of the next Monday I still have one mochi left and one sip of milk tea.... I don't want to finish them D:. The one thing I was happy with was I got randomly glomped by an Eiji in the dealer's room and that made my day because I hadn't seen many PoT cosplayers. Also, a very shy Oshitari got a picture with me and after having such a great day I got yelled at twice in less than ten minutes that I needed to get my tennis racket peace tied.... I sorta understand, but really, next thing you know you're gonna have to piece tie your glow sticks for the rave.

Anyways so, Lindsey wanted to go to the rave and Wolf and I didn't, so we dropped her off and went back to the hotel and nearly fell asleep watching tv. Lindsey called hours later and told us she forgot her ID and we had to bring it to her. So we drove to the free parking lot that was about halfway and then walked the rest, the other mile, to the convention and gave her the ID and met some of her friends and some very drunk people. So she went to the rave and we waited for her and watched some wierd chinese movie that was like a comedy fairy tale that ended with Buddha. So when she got out we walked back to the car, drove to the hotel and crashed almost immediately.

Saturday:

So Saturday morning was the PoT meeting at 10am right when it 'opened' (technically it was 24 hours a day but most things started at 10). Well, Lindsey decided she wanted to wear her kill your husband shoes and we would take the tram where we saw the stop not far from the hotel. Only, when we got there it was a dead end that led to a back alleyway. So we walked further and still didn't find a stop and ended up walking all the way there. We left at 9:30 and didn't get there until damn near 11. So I almost completely missed the PoT meeting. I got the tail end of it and watched most of the people walk away, but when I got there I met a bunch of people and fought over my tennis racket with Jirou and then got a piggy back ride and had tons of fun. Then everyone left to go elsewhere and I felt left alone. We walked around a bit and went back through the rooms and rested awhile on the floor. And then later I had the bright idea to go toward where I had seen the PoT people walking. So I conned Wolf into walking outside and toward the fountain to see that cool meeting across the street, when my true interest was checking out the hotel on the corner. And in doing so I found a group of people dressed in PoT costumes taking pictures inside the lobby. I met them and got numbers and stuff and then made plans to meet up with them at the signing thing with Hide-san.

We met up later at the signing, where I GOT MY HYOTEI JACKET SIGNED Squee~ that was frickin amazing. I met up with all the other PoT cosplayers in line and talked with them and waited with them and then waited around afterward to get pictures with him. Mandii actually started crying, being the cute Kaidoh that she was~ Kiuchi touched her arm x) So everyone got stuff signed and then I tagged along as they looked around the Artist Alley. So of course I made friends quickly, and after awhile we decided we would go with them to lunch/dinner at this place called the Melting Pot. We tagged along back to their hotel room and met the rest of their group and there was lots of nakedness as everyone changed costumes. I also discovered the most awesome sketches of the Dirty Pair that I've ever seen, which I then stole and took with me (I'll post pictures of all my stuff later). Then we finally left to go eat and bonded on the way and basically just had fun goofing off. When we got to the Melting Pot it wasn't quite open for like five minutes but we waited and then got seated at this huge table. It was really expensive (the entrées were around $20) but we just got a regular cheese fondue which is an understatement. They put things in it like they start with beer and then add spices and stuff before they melt the cheese in it. It tasted amazing, and they gave us apples, bread and other things to dip in it. Then we talked to the other group as they ate because they got the full feast, and I got a cucumber from Mandii with the sauce I'd been eyeing ♥.

We had long conversations about fanfiction, Tenimyu and PoT in general, and I found out that several of them had read
suteishichic s story. ^-^ So I have people who understand my fangirling about her. Best smut evar. And Mandii drew some more while I marveled at her talent x) We were supposed to go to the masquerade buuuuut lunch turned into dinner and we didn't get out of there until 7:30. But our dessert was amazing, and it tasted like smores. It was so cool, it lit on fire when he added stuff and then we got brownies, rice-crispie cakes and cheesecake to dip in the chocolate. After paying for our meal and making friends with our waiter we left the restaurant and went back to the hotel. Well, some of us did, we kinda split up. There was some costume changing, and I stole everyone's wigs and put them all on at once and got called cute about a billion times >D We headed back to the convention and walked around for a bit before Anime Hell started. We sat for... I think it was two hours? watching Anime Hell, which isn't completely my type of humor but the beginning made the whole thing. 'IF YOU ARE HERE FOR HENTAI... GET THE FUCK OUT.' 'IF YOU ARE HERE FOR AMV HELL... GET THE FUCK OUT' *giggles* that was the best. There were more but I don't remember them all.

During Anime Hell Wolf and Lindsey met back up with us, and we decided to go to the rave. I'm not fond of loud music or things like that in general, but everyone else was going so I did too. We watched the breakdancers for a little bit, and danced for a bit before deciding to go out into the hallway. We left the rave because a few of us weren't too thrilled/couldn't stand the loud music any longer, and we went and sat in a hallway and rested our feet. We sat and talked for hours on end, and we decided that we were gonna stay up all night and just stay at the con considering it was 24 hours. Lindsey and Wolf decided to go back to the hotel room around 3:30am and we stayed there for a couple more hours on the floor. That's where we met our adorable little Ritsuka (and yes, we consider him ours) who sat and talked to us for awhile. I found Mandii more paper so she could draw more, and she drew me a Gakuto in a maid outfit :DDDDDDDDDDDD which made me the happiest fangirl ever combined with the other ones she drew. We were going to go to Starbucks at 5:30 when they opened, but we gave up at 5 and went back to the room. We all crashed almost immediately after unbinding ourselves and we were out like rocks.

Sunday:

Yay for four hours of sleep. We got up at 9 because there was a fan appreciation panel with Kiuchi at 10 that we didn't want to miss because we missed the Q&A the day before thanks to dinner. We all got ready (all eight of us) though most of us didn't have enough time to take showers because we really didn't want to miss it. Ended up taking showers that night :<. Somehow we still ended up a tad late, I don't remember exactly how but we split up and I was with the people who were slightly late. But we still got there with plenty of time to spare and we got to sit there really close to Kiuchi and ask questions. After all the questions we got to take pictures with him, and remember that Eiji that glomped me on the first day? Yeah I got ahold of her leash and someone took a picture to prove that Gakuto wins >D. I got a picture with Kiuchi and we also got a group PoT picture with him that was awesomely cute.

When we had to leave so Kiuchi could have some time before the Karaoke session we ended up going to the maid café and eating there and meeting some really cute girls dressed as maids who waited on us and sat and talked to us. Mandii sketched more on napkins and the maid was so happy with them that Mandii gave them to her. Then we got a group picture with all the maids and we looked like pimps. I was Gakuto (of course) Mandii was Dabide and Wolf was dressed up for the black and white ball in slacks, a white dress up shirt and a black jacket. I played it up with Gakuto too, since he is a whore pimp. After we were done there we went outside for the Shonen Jump photo shoot. We stood around and talked for a while and goofed off and got all the PoT cosplayers together in one area. We created new OTPs OT3s and even an OT5 >D and I got to steal Eiji on the leash again. Then we stood together for the photo shoot, all the Shonen Jump cosplayers all together. The awesome thing was that the pictures they took were going to be published in a japanese magazine :D.

After the photoshoot everyone split up, and we took off to go to the karaoke with Kiuchi. Words cannot describe the awesomeness of that experience. All the dressed up PoT people sat in the front row on the right side of the room right by where Kiuchi's table was. Almost all of our little group went up and sang something, but Wolf and Lindsey weren't there. Rika and Grace sang Valentine Kiss, and Viv totally stole the show by being dressed as Inui and singing Go!Go!Meganes! which of course all of us in the front row helped with. Go meganes, go meganes, go meganes GOGO! :D And then someone sang Megane wo Hazusu Yoru and Grace and some other random person I don't know sang Kimeru songs and it was just awesome. Kiuchi was thrilled by the entire thing and he kept laughing and yelling 'Sugoi!' at everyone and all of us in the front row singing all the words to all the songs and getting all into it. Then he decided the winners and Viv won a signed fan and we all got up on stage to sing Dear Prince which only one person knew the tune to. 'Ooowoowooowoo' xD

After Karaoke everyone was hungry so we went down the street to McDonalds and ate some, and then we went back to the hotel.

(MORE TOMORROW, tired x_x)
