Star Trek
We went to see Star Trek today and I don't think I've laughed so hard in a while. I really enjoyed it. I have seen so many movie lately that the best I can say about them is that they are pretty. Pretty isn't necessarily entertaining. I was entertained by Star Trek. Even the bits I found over the top or cliche, I was entertained by. I want to know how may re-runs the dude playing Bones watched, for his impersonation. Scotty steals his scenes. I think I loved Chekov the best. I love his gitty panicked excitement as he releasing he can beam people aboard. I love his expression when he's given the con, again. I love when he tells Bones how old he is. Chekov, never one of my particular favs, just jumped to the head of the list.
