This is suck a crazy mindfuck already, and it's just getting started! Jim's true-blue nature and trust in Bones is such a lovely contrast to Bones's confusion. I loved the detail about the pen, and Bones writing on Jim's hand <3 This is wonderful, sweetie, and I can't wait for the next chapter (rationing myself because it takes a while to sort out--I don't want to read it too quickly and get confused.)

Good lord, you've got some will-power stopping there! But...they're just about to...but... ;D

I'd say, if you can find the time, it works better if you can read it one go - it actually gets 'complicated' soon and you might lose the thread - then again, not everyone has the memory issues I have ;D Then again, it is wicked long!

Yeah, 'crazy mind fuck', is a pretty accurate description - lol! I'm so thrilled you're liking it thus far! :D

I really love what this setting does to their dynamic. We can see how they both need each other, even though they're in very different places mentally about their relationship.

It's amazing how, as I was 'preparing' to write this, re-reading the book, watching the movie, I made all these notes about possible scenes, how it felt like a re-write for a long time, then, in the end, the fic took on a life of it's own. Jim and Bones do seem to 'write themselves' in some ways and, well, there was a lot of sex in this and at times I worried it was too much, but I'm glad it had the emotional impact I wanted it to. Thank you.

I love that he does crosswords on his comm!

But seriously, this is one fantastic story you've started here. I'm so intrigued so see more of their history, to see where it goes. I love the reasons that Bones drinks so much and is so cranky, and I LOVE how Jim is so turned on and attatched to Bones right away. I can't wait to read more. Gotta sleep now, but I'll be back. :)
