I guess in my head, the sequel is pretty much the movie complete with a slightly modified shuttle scene! I did imagine another scene where Bones sees Jim getting beaten up and doesn't intervene but, I'm happy to leave this fic here and for the reader to fill in the blanks. There's a lot of fun to be had doing that. XD
