the ponds are thawing, the river has broken completely. It feels like spring; it's funny because here its been below 32 for a month, and today it was like 38 degrees. So its like springtime, all the smells of the earth, centuries of industry and fossils.

I have a cactus collection! 4 now. I really need to look up more info on them, im confused, i hear if they feel dry to the touch to water them, but, how long do you keep em dry? Like its been a week, and finally it seems as if the water is taking hold. one of em seems as if they arent aspirating the water. whatever. its so hard to find a good site where i can just look at pictures to identify em.. well, there i go..
