More Shootings and Violence
So apparently in recent news someone decided to go off and shoot up another school. My codolences do go out to the people who were harmed and have suffered during this tragic event but that's not what this blog is about...
Today, although ive been ranting and raving about various things, is an anger rant about the past few shootings we've witnessed. It really angers me in the fact that both columbine and this college recently have happened...on more levels than one. First off how weak can you be to just shoot people out of a personal hate for their race or their lifestyle? the people who shot up columbine walked in and shot their enemies, people who hurt them, and various types of people (IE jocks preps goths whatever you may call them), and then they killed themselves. For years after that people have tried to get over that moment in our nations history. Now another fool comes up and shoots up his college?!?! even he said he hated preps jocks or whatever. But what really pisses me off the is that both attacks were positioned on the fact that people "hated" a certain style of people or wanted some unbridled revenge for those who made fun of them. "Jocks, preps, goths, emos, cheerleaders." These labels have circulated through the schools of our nation for God knows how long. It seems like these shootings are in justice but how do you find justice in shooting someone for their style? it completely boggles my mind. This kid who shot up his school this time made it even worse because for one thing...He wrote about his facination (sp?) on a web blog called vampirefreaks.com for real you have to read this MSN artical about it... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14818183/
now dont get me wrong. I was a member of VF.com for some time because it was a blog place for people who enjoyed a darker lifestyle, least in my opinion. The music list they provided was awesome as hell. but what pisses me off is that this dude...he said some of the stupidest shit ive ever heard.

how do you honestly put something up like that and expect people to think any better of you? the amazing thing is that he was some post neo-goth that expressed his anger on VF.com with such cliche words and kindergarten style that it wasnt a wonder why people didnt take him seriously until he decided to do what he did...shot all these people he didnt like and then "go out in a hail of bullets"
What happens in a person's life that makes them just decide to fuck shit up like that? And to portray themself as he did...all black mowhawk trenchcoat styel? It's like slapping the rest of us in the face who have a similar style. You have any idea how many people ive walked up to after columbine happened who refused to talk to me cause i wore all black and was "goth"?!?!? just recently have things settled down and now that im in a new town its all gone to hell. So now we sit here with this dilemma cause people are going to think twice...perhaps not even think at all about how me or people like me dress.

ive heard that line so many times its not even funny. ive been searched more times than needed and to top it all off, trench coats are like some sort of sin to own. dammit it gets cold up here in washington and those things are warm as hell.
I guess in conclusion all i gotta say is that perhaps people should pay more attention to who they are around. And if any other moron decideds to shoot up a school or whatever to do it some other way. hell...wear a baseball jersey or something. This stupid cliche where people wear all black and trenchcoats is seriously getting on my nerves. As for the "oh well my life has been shit and i want revenge on a few preps and jocks" method for killing, grow the fuck up and get over your issues. Killing a person for who they are and how they live is the dumbest thing ive ever heard and your act is cowardice and pathetic. Go beat them up in a street fight or something. prove your point without death. omg your a prep im gonna kill you doesnt prove a point and makes people who are similiar to your style look bad. if you honestly hate a particular group of people...for whatever reason it may be, stay away from them or take on the head honcho of the group and tear their ass apart in a fight. that will relieve any doubt that you are capable of backing up your shit talk and get them away from you. or dont get violent...go to a damn counselor or something. get to the bottom of why you "hate" these people.
if any of this doesnt make sense to you dont worry...im just venting and letting whatever comes to mind go out.

stupid people should just commit themself or something...it would make this place a lot easier to live in and things will be a lot more peaceful.
