Sick on Field Trip day
Evolution of a cold:
Day 1= sore throat
Day 2= runny nose, fever
Day 3= painful sinuses, stuffy nose, fever
Last night it was nearly impossible to sleep, due to my not being able to breathe well. I take cold medicine every 4-6 hours, but it's not helping enough in my opinion. I am drinking tons of warm chai and I took a nice steamy shower :D Too bad my cold is so bad that my teeth hurt.
I know I get sick a little more than the average person (I blame it on handling money and books at work), but I have a slight knack for getting sick on days that are hard to make up. Today, we have a field trip and presentations to give for one of my classes and my cold has not cleared up. I emailed the teacher, and hopefully she will say something nice about how I'm doing so well in class that missing the trip isn't so bad and she hopes I feel better, but I'm not sure. It's supposed to be an important part of the class.
