late to the party...as usual
*omg, IRONMAN. yes.
* i can't rec dorkorific's fic, Four Vignettes highly enough. it was the first fic i read after seeing the movie, and it's still the best thing i've read so far.
* omg, SPN ep4. yes - to shout-outs! omg, the Mathlete line! HA. if you don't know what i'm talking about go read 'Shotguns and Saltlines' because you should anyway.
* our computer had a meltdown, which is one of the reasons i've been away.
* the other reasons were : a) my two oldest boys had their birthdays (one day apart). there was a party. 11 pre-adolescent boys in our backyard; i had to make two gigantic cakes, a spaceship, a scorpion - enoughsaid. b) the baby got chickenpox - wasn't so bad. better to get it when you're a baby, IMO. not coordinated enough to scratch, not aware enough to really be miserable. he's scabby and fine now. we call him Mr Spotty. c) my mum came down to visit. for a week. enoughsaid.
* am writing Ironman fic now *is a hopeless case* - but i'm still writing The Fic That Ate My Brain! go me.
* our solar hot water service is broken - no hot showers for two weeks now, woe.
