I HAVE A KITTY.
I mean, I've always had a kitty, but today Fay's being all super-affectionate and harassing me. Right now, she's asleep in my lap, and it's very hard to type on a laptop when there's a cat sitting there. [insert various pussy jokes here.]
These past few days have sort of been "Is there anything ELSE I can catch
Home sick yesterday and today. I've had a cold all week, but that was sort of a 'whatever' thing. Sunday night I was feeling crappy- I didn't eat at all that day, since I wasn't feeling well, and went to bed at 7:00. Feeling flu-ish. Mom woke me up at the normal time, but I was feeling awful and went back to sleep. At around 9:30 I was still feeling flu-ish, but I felt like waking up as well. I get up and look in the mirror, and one eye is all bloodshot and pus-filled. I figure that it just got irritated while I was asleep, put on my glasses, and go upstairs.
I then proceed to not eat, because I still feel like I have the flu.
Around... oh, say, 1:00, I'm feeling less flu-ish and I've finally gotten the applesauce open so I can actually EAT something. :D Then, my eye starts itching. I go to check it out, and it's more bloodshot.
Around 2:00, I'm diagnosed with pinkeye, which means no school for two days or so. D:
Then it's 5:00-ish. The flu stuff is gone, less achy, but the cold from the previous day's really catching up with me and I'm coughing a lot.
Around six, I get eyedrops, and my eye stops hurting. We're good there.
Around eight, when I'm about to go to bed, I start coughing heavily. All that cold sickness from the past week? Yeah. Coughing it back up. D:
So, basically, I cure one thing and get another. It's one of those "Well, at least it can't get any worse" moments. Because then it does.
Honestly, it's terribly amusing. I mean, I don't feel all that sick- my eye has stopped itching, but I can't go to school because I'm contagious. The cough is annoying and makes my throat feel all raw, but I can ignore that for the most part.
I'm lonely. D:
