I've had ELO stuck in my head for the past two days- especially today, first blue sky in... forever. God, it was gorgeous.
Two amazing days.
Two days ago, closing night. It was, by far, the best performance that we had, AND Kim came. The audience was fantastic- they laughed at EVERYTHING. I just felt... wow. I couldn't stop smiling, even though I wanted to cry. I hate it when shows end.
Sharis afterwards was great. Kim came to the dinner as well, and it was great. Reminiscing, thinking about phallic frolicking, tempting hashbrowns ("like the devil, but better-tasting"), ninja weilding leprechauns ("Ninjas aren't a weapon!" "THEY ARE IF YOU WEILD THEM!"), and... everything.
Snowball fight afterwards was picturesque. (HOW DO WE STILL HAVE SNOW?! Seriously. Normally it's a little bit of snow and hten it melts. It's fantastic.) It seemed like something out of a movie. Wonderfully spontaneous and all that what.
I think that describes today pretty well, as well. Wonderfully spontaneous. And the sun came through just as I was listening to "Mr. Blue Sky." "It stopped rainin'"...
Long story short, we (Sarah, Bekay, Micah, Yue, and, of course, me) took Emma to the beach. She's never seen the ocean before- even in Korea, since she lived in Seoul. She was so happy, and Emma hasn't been happy in a while. We went to Florence, hit the South Jetty for the dunes and Mo's diner for the chowder, then went to the Newport for the Sea Lion Docks, and the aquarium. God, it was fantastic.
