Just got back from Katsu yesterday. Overall the weekend seemed to be fairly smooth. Other than a trip north for stuff. Long car trips tend to fry my brain and just generally make me a very tired and cranky person. I will admit having Leilani to help out with lights for the dance does make it a bit easier. I can get food or whatever. I'm starting to get a bit more familiar with the pearl now. I just need to learn how to actually program cues into it. It's probably not that hard.
Came home to a baby bunny. We named it Neko. For those of you who don't know japanese, we named it cat. Other than the sniffing thing, Neko seems to act very cat like. The whole, I'm going to acknowledge you called my name but I'm going to do my own thing. Neko's current main play area is the hallway with all the doors closed. Neko has also deemed the large box her crate came in as a nice spot as well as any of the bottom bookcase.
Got a few musical propositions for cello stuff. I'm quite curious as to how those are going to go. I haven't done any kind of recording in a long time.
Overall school is not going too bad but not too well either. I failed my first 2 exams. It seems I did much better on the retake of the one. The next written theory exam shouldn't be too bad. I'm more worried about the aural exam. We're naming pitches and intervals. We're also naming scale types and doing rythm dictation. That's what's going to kick my ass tomorrow. We have the aural exam first and then the written theory...Neko is making some serious noise, so i should probably investigate what trouble she is causing.
