You find yourself in front of seven identical doors.
A voice from above tells you:
"These seven doors lead to seven places:
Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle-earth, and Westeros.
Which door do you go through?
Why that door? What happens?"
I've had a good think on this and realised it's a very difficult decision. In which part of their history or part of their world do you come in it for instance? These are very important questions to consider. [No, I have no life]
I will not be taking the doors to Narnia or Wonderland. Wonderland has always creeped me out as a child and as a grown up, I have never grown fond of the Alice in Wonderland stories. Narnia just isn't my cup of tea, purely and solely based on the movies. I do want to read the books when I get the chance, but the movies were too child-like and allegorical for me.
I would consider Neverland, because I am all for remaining in contact with your inner child forever, were it not that I just wrote a Once Upon a Time fanfic in which Peter gets horribly depressed in Neverland. So that's sort of bad timing right now..
I probably would not go for Camelot, because I doubt I could make any nice living there. I have no royal blood and though it's clear being a servant can get you somewhere in that world, Camelot's not special enough for me.
Westeros is too violent for me and the Wall wouldn't accept me as a woman :p
Leaves Hogwarts and Middle-earth. Makes sense, looking at my fangirly history XD The thing about Hogwarts is.. it is filled with teenagers. Not if you gave me a billion dollars would I go back to those years, and teaching the little buggers gives me nerves too. If the door had led to the wizarding world, the decision would have been more difficult. And I guess technically Hogwarts leads to Hogsmeade, but that would make the decision more difficult..
Leaves Middle-earth, which would be my choice if I didn't use the science of elimination anyway, because the world Tolkien invented means a lot to me. Beautiful, inspirational, magical in a sense, different races and even though it is dangerous, for ordinary folk there is oftentimes a level of security and peace that would be perfect :) I would probably try to fit in with the Elves. I just love 'm. And if they don't want me, which is a definite possibility, I'd head out to see if there are any travellers out there who'd like to travel around Middle-earth with me. See Gondor, Rohan, Lothlórien, the Shire, the Blue Mountains and if Elrond permits it Rivendell.
Which door would you guys choose???
