Finals has Initated....Sara - 1 vs. Finals - 0 (For this Week)
So my first final was today and I think I won the first battle of finals for it was the Sexuality in Literature final. That class is one of my faves and I think is what got me into switching my major over into English. I love reading literature. I always will. So now I have two more finals left, Political Science: World Politics and Sociology: Initimate Relations. I'm not worried about Sociology because we had a review session on that and the subject is interesting so it's something that keeps me awake. Now for Political Science that is not something that I enjoy reading. I feel like it's a repetitive of what I learned in International Studies. The topics we learn are interesting but not from learning from the text. Well when those are done I shall be free somewhat from school related things during the summer except for one course I may take in the summer.
So now that the summer break is approaching real soon, I'm going to jot down some ideas and plans of what I would like to do this summer. Because this summer may be the last summer I enjoy for next summer pre-law and LSAT courses are going to be kicking my ass.
Here's my plan for Summer of '07:
1) Anime Next - It will probably be the only summer convention. Otakon is up in the air for now but I probably won't because I ned to be saving up money for other things.
2) See Rent (especially now with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp performing) and another musical. Possibly Avenue Q or Legally Blonde (I know "what is wrong with me?!" but I want to see how it is done and it looks funny).
3) Look into Semester Study Abroad Programs - England, Ireland, or Scotland
4) Now that I have a license....ROAD TRIPS! Okay maybe not somewhere far but maybe Boston or DC.
5) City Trips including going to the Village
6) Take a course for the summer's second session at Stony Brook
7) Work on Cosplay which will probably be Fixing up Zelda a lot and Claire Bennett from Heroes. Yes I am doing a Heroes cosplay because I want to and finally can. XD
8) Go out to Montauk
9) Hang out with people because I can finally have a social life for the summer! XD
10) Harry Potter Book and Movie Premiere - Yeah I might not have a social life when the book comes out actually. So if I'm missing for a few days it's probably because I'm locked up in my room reading it. And I might be re-doing my Slytherin garb for the movie and book premiere. I'm also thinking about making a Tom Riddle cosplay just because I know I'll be in the Harry Potter mood and I'll want to make another costume.
11) Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship Concert! Emo concert = Hell Yeah! XD
12) Work on some fashion designs and actually make some clothing that I have been wanting to make
13) Look into Law schools
I think that's most of the plans for the summer. Now will actually go through? Probably not but I do hope so! XD
