I bring to you today, for one night only, the very proof that perhaps working at a bookstore has its downs as well as its ups <3
The following are, pretty much, actual factual true stories.
The day I was training in Cafe:
Chris: I once met a man who claimed to be my father...
Gideon: Oh really?
Chris: Yes. He told me on that day, "Chris, my son", he said, "You should date many women and discover true love"
Gideon: Aww thats sweet-
Chris: It wasn't for another few years did I realize he meant for me to date many women all at the same time though...
Gideon: Uhm...
At Checkout COunter:
Chris: I can help the next customer in line :D
Customer: Ok *walks up*
Chris:... for five dollars >:-D
Customer:... Huh?
Chris: No no Im just kidding ^__^, For now... he he he :-)
Customer: uhm....
Also at checkout counter:
Chris: Hey Matt, hows it going?
Matt: Oh its alright, hows your day been?
Chris: Eh its been pretty good... of course Im really just lying..
Matt: ??
Chris: Ha ha ha ha!!!... Next in line please ^__^
At customer service:
CHris: You look nice today Tanya
Tanya: Thanks Chris B. ^__^
Chris: *western deep manly voice* I reckon you look like a dainty mountain flower :P
Tanya: Sure...
Also at customer service:
Chris: I had plans for the end of July to go to Baltimore...
Eric: Oh really? Thats nice
Chris: Yeah... too bad I cant go...
Eric: Really?! How come...
Chris:...
Eric: Chris?...
Chris: CURSE YOU HARRY POTTER!!! *shakes fist*
At cafe:
Chris: Hey its ANNA!
Anna: Hey Chris
Chris: It was horrible! The minutes, they seemed like hours, weeks even... since we last talked like this... But at least we got to work and chill today like cool kids :-D
Anna: Ive been at Cafe all day though...
Again at customer service
Norman: Hey Chris arent you supposed to be at cashwrap now?
Chris: Im not too sure, philosopher's have been debating that question for many years now...
Norman: He he, your a funny man CHris. But seriously?
Chris: Well according to legend...
Norman: Damnit...
At checkout counter again
Chris: Yeah Id deinfately recommend this book! I couldnt put it down once I started reading! :-D
Customer: Ok I'll get it, thanks :-) *leaves*
Chris: Everything I just said was a lie of course... ha ha ha!
Matt: Scary...
