V is for...

What does V stand for... Vendetta? Vivaciousness? Versatility?

No my fine friends of all genders and nationalities... today... V is for... Viking!

You may think Im a little crazy... certainly you Flint Rockstone, the stunningly hip and cool captain of the Mt Hebron Viking's football team, would have thought me crazy if I said such a thing.

But!

One day while driving home from school, in his humble and decently affordable '94 Pontiac, he came across an injured man off the side of the road. His Catholic upbring and teachings from his respectable parents told him that helping such a man in need would definately be the right thing to do... however...

While helping the man out, young Flint Rockstone was struck by lightning! Lying on the ground weak and out of breath, the man came to him and said "You, good lad, have helped me when others would not have bothered. I am Odin, King of the Norse gods. You are indeed worthy of the blessings of Valhalla to which I bestow upon you today."

And like that, in but an instant, Flint was granted powers exceeding those of normal men and women. On that day he vowed to himself and Odin that he would use his powers for good and protect those in need from the forces of evil.

For now, when the day is through... he is no longer Flint Rockstone. By night he is...

LOGBERG! Viking Champion!!! (Logberg is norse for law-rock... Flint Rockstone... get it? ha ha :P)

Ha ha ha!!! And that was what I was thinking about whilst at work today ::
