THE EARTH'S TROPOSPHERE

Sep 27, 2009 17:02

That recent tropical storm in the Philippines was beyond doubt terrifying.

The peace and calm here in our own household were disrupted for a point in time, not even because my family and I were among the many directly affected by or actual sufferers of it; but because of the concern for all the family and friends, as well as the property, that we have back there.

The last phone conversation that I had with Jonathan yesterday was when he was going home from work; and when I did not hear from him for about eight hours after that, I was worried sick!

You see that this is one of the most thorny parts of being in a long-distance relationship.
Due to more than 2000 miles of expanse between us, I could not really do anything with plain ease, other than to just sit with anxiety and wait for his contact.

I am very glad, comforted, and definitely grateful that I only have to do this (long-distance relationship) for approximately two weeks.

I hope everyone is okay back there.
I really do.

Roll call, everybody!
Tell me if you are alive! ☻
