I envy Amy. She's flying back to the Philippines from Sydney on December 3 to spend Christmas there. Huhuhu. She's going to spend Christmas with AGEA, and I am not. *makes a sad face*

I am currently chatting to a friend right now, and she just dropped a bomb on me. I can not believe what she just told me.

Jennifer Hudson blew my mind away!
I did not know what I was missing all this time. Good thing I decided to watch Dreamgirls on DVD the other night..and OH MY HOLY BOLOGNE!!! I let Jennifer Hudson take all the glory! She is one goddess!!! That voice of hers..made me have no trouble go past her black complexion and curvy figure. My oh my! Everyone in Hollywood should be like her, where there is only talent, instead of just Oscar dela Renta gowns and Prada shoes. Beyonce may also be talented and a brilliant performer; but in that movie, she just seemed ordinary singing beside Jennifer Hudson!

I can not quite figure out why such someone such as Hilary Duff is more popular than another such as Amanda Bynes.
No offense to Hilary Duff fans; but I have also thought of her as..plain. Ordinary. Boring.
I know tweens and other people from close age groups like Hilary Duff better than Amanda Bynes; but I just don't understand why! Hilary can not even sing very well; she just doesn't go out of tune.
This thought has suddenly occurred to mind because I have watched a movie of Amanda Bynes last night, which is Lovewrecked; and saw how good Amanda Bynes is as an actress. Well, she may not be the star of bigtime movies, because to tell the truth, half of her movies are flop..but her comedic antics are really something! She is really really good!
Her movie Lovewrecked, is yet another disappointment, as it falls in the low-budgeted films category..but what the heck? I paid to rent the movie with the clear awareness that it is in fact, a bad movie. (You see, there is nothing wrong with a bad movie if you expect it to be a bad movie from the start.) To balance that, however, Amanda Bynes was really really great..I love her comedy!!! Plus, I just love this movie because the setting took place in a resort and a beach..very very good location! It was just refreshing to see marvelous swimming pools and a scenic beach. I love it!

And I just watched the Twilight trailer online; and it is good! (Understand that Hollywood movie showings here in Australia are a bit later than in the Philippines.) I am still trying to decide if I am going to jump on the Twilight bandwagon. I know the book and the movie are both great; but I just have this weird (and annoying?) attitude that even though I like something, if most people like it, I suddenly tend to not like it anymore. I don't know, but I just don't like to like what every else likes. Ahaha! But I am going to treat my mom to watch it anyway because she also likes it.
