THE MOONS OF JUPITER
On one typical 16 degree-morning of Spring at work, the news on the television featured an 18-year-old teenage girl who just won $1 million (a whopping 40 million in Pesos!!!) from the lottery.
And so, in relation to that, our manager asked me, "What would you do if you win $1 million from the lottery?".
Without having much profound thought about it at that moment, I just handed him the answer, "Spend $5,000 on shopping, and bank the rest.".
Hmm, well, that's not true. That's not true at all.
What I'd really do...
...is come back to the Philippines, buy and manage my own Starbucks franchise, make myself (and my family) rich, so that I will never have to come back to Australia again in search of a "better life".
