THE SOCIETAL NORMS
My dollar sign henna tattoo from 8 Waves has been gone for a week now..and I miss having it on my inner wrist. I have always wanted a genuine one (tattoo); but also always been scared to have a needle be in contact with my skin. If ever I search out the courage to get one, however, I would prefer it to be a barcode on my batok; just like Jessica Alba's on her then TV series Dark Angel.

The spoof movie Meet The Spartans is crazy! They had it good with the impersonation of Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie); but they had it overboard with the Britney Spears one. The Britney Spears scene even almost made me gag.

Syndy let me borrow her Like Water For Chocolate book. I had read and excerpt of it before in our Literature class; but it was only recently that I finished the whole story. And for feedback, I did not like it. The story's interesting in the sense that it is cultural; and thus gives the reader a foretaste of Mexican culture..including its richest aspect, which is food. The Mexican dishes/recipes incorporated in this book certainly gave me an urge to suddenly rush to Taco Bell..haha! However, I was very much taken aback as I read it on because there are numerous parts which narrated lusty scenes; which I find very..hmm, well..very uncomfortable to read. Haha!
