I'm very enthusiastic to have my life back and get to watch TV for as long as I please. I had to chance to watch all my fantastic new DVDs and all that HBO and Star Movies have to offer.
I've seen:
Just My Luck, which rocks.
The Breed, which sucks.
The Skeleton Key, which stars Kate Hudson, gave me the thrills. The movie's ending kind of makes you wonder if you're really seeing it happen. It kind of makes you gasp "What?!", for the ending isn't really a fairytale happy one where the lead character/s get to have the last laugh. It's a little disappointing, actually. The rest of the movie is moving, though. It keeps your eyes glued to the screen because you'll be eager to find out if your theories about the movie's plot is correct. It's pretty engaging actually. I like it!
Robots, which is an animation film, well, is cute. Ehehe. It's cool hearing Ewan McGregor's and Amanda Bynes' voices playing the leads. My eyes were just a little dizzy because the robots in the movie are in a lot of colors that seem to be scattered in my illusion.
And The Lake House, which is a little confusing at first as to who's in the past and who's in the present, but everything gets clear as the story nears its ending. And oh! The ending! I love it, it's very touching! I think the movie is all about waiting; waiting for the right time, for everything to just fall perfectly into place. I love it! There are also scenes that made me go "Ooohhh, so yun pala yun!". The twist is a little impressive; this is one of those few movies that make viewers think the leads aren't going to get a happy ending. BUT I REALLY LOVE THE ENDING! I fell inlove with it, it's so nice and heartwarming. It makes me realize that the while you waited is worth it. Patience is key. Aww, I really love its ending! ...But oh, I don't like Sandra Bullock's haircut here. She looks like a tomboy.
