This week has been one of those busiest weeks in my precious life. From Monday to Saturday, my social calendar is anything but inactive. My week was fully booked!
Monday was clearance day and SM Mall Of Asia with Jonathan and Charlie.
Tuesday was one of those usual shopping days with the family and a wedding reception in Gloria Mari’s, Greenhills.
Wednesday was bonding and catching up day with my barkada at Philcoa and in UP Bowling Alley and in Chocolate Kiss.
Thursday was enrolment day.
Friday was Jonathan’s birthday in Heaven N' Eggs, Eastwood and a birthday party in Celeb.
Saturday is malling day with the Santos clan in SM Mall of Asia, had lunch in Congo Grille and had merienda in Bread Talk, and detressed in Time Zone.
And I’ll be sparing my Sunday from any out-of-home activity.
I have missed my barkada so dearly that I’m very glad I got to meet up with them last Wednesday. You know the great thing about me and my friends is that every pasukan, we’re okay even if don’t get to see or talk to each other even for months…and when sembreak or summer vacation starts, we can still all meet up, gossip and bond with each other like we see each other everyday. We don’t lose the essence that binds us together and we don’t develop any gap. We’ve passed through the test of distance and time. Now, isn’t that sweet? Ehehe. Anyway.
We ate in this very unnoticed kainan in Philcoa (katabi of Jollibee) that’s probably named like IHAW something and the food’s great! Their sisig is malinamnam! And I was natuwa of the iced tea we ordered that was in fishbowl! Then we enjoyed two games of bowling in UP that was very cheap, but nonetheless very fun! We were moved by the fact that the pins there were being placed manually by the manongs…manually!!! Can you imagine? So we were like, “Kawawa naman si manong!” everytime we get to knock down the pins because they’d have to place it one by one again. We indulged ourselves in UP’s Chocolate Kiss after we played to reward ourselves with delicious Devil’s something, Dayap something and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake something cakes. The food was fabulous, and what made it even more fab is that, we were in UP, so there’s no VAT!

Enrolment in UST sucks! The technology factor is great (encoding made easy, thanks to laptops!), but the looooong line is definitely irritating and time and energy consuming. Plus, what added to my irritation is the guard that told me to make alis from where I was standing because I was making chikka with someone from a line because I was done enrolling myself…hmfh!

And comes Jonathan’s birthday! From morning until dawn, he was all mine; but his evening was spent with his family. He treated me (like he always does, his birthday or not) to Heaven N’ Eggs in Eastwood and our food was, of course, heaven! I love their sandwiches…they’re so huge! The serving was really heavy for my appetite…but of course, what do I expect? It’s American food.
Congo Grille’s squid potahes are really great! And I love their Choco-Banana Shake!

Okay, so my week has been great!
BUT OH HOLY.
I’ve been fond of food so much lately.
Oh please, don’t let me gain weight!
