Bus Strike
Last tuesday morning the Santa Cruz Metro busses decided that the cool thing for them to do would be to go on strike. However it was not a cool idea at all. Because I was late for class, and then I was late for work. AND they are STILL on strike. So this weekend hannah and I had to take cabs everywhere. Which would be cool, except I don't think this city is used to so many people using it's cab system, so our cab that was suposed to pick us up in "20 minutes" arrived 40 minutes later.... haha, but then the driver was really funny cause he was pissed off at the other drivers for not understanding "the rules" and just picking random people up... and he gave us some good bar tips.
But I really hope the busses come back soon, other wise I'm gonna go broke...
