I haven't actually made an official announcement yet, so I guess I should...
I have accepted the offer made by Schefenacker and begin work at 8.00am sharp on 26th August 2002. Humph. 8.00am. I'm used to getting out of bed at 8.00am! :)
I've been offered an incredible salary package, 6 month probation which they reserve the right to end early if they deem it appropriate, great working environment and any/all training I may require.
So now I'm scared shitless. :D I am, but I'm also really, really excited to be finally given the opportunity to WORK. Finally my self esteem is getting a bit of a boost, and the bank balance is going to get one too.
The one thing that I'm a little sorry about is my car. My BMW 318i (lovingly called my beloved baby beamer) is going to have to go and be replaced with something a little more normal. Well... normal for me anyway (probably a Nissan 180sx or some such). Its a necessary evil however, and I can always get another beamer later.
