1- Interesting the way the technical knowledge of his job remains with Dean even when he gets confused and can't figure out what he's supposed to do long-term.

2- John to the rescue! I love how he just kind of bullies his way into the Johnston's home without so much as a by-your-leave. Typical.

3- HAH! I knew it! I knew it wasn't a coincidence!

4- Oh, little monster-thing, you're going to have to get a LOT stronger before you pry the memory of Sam out of Dean.

5- Ouch. He forgot Cassie. *winces*

6- John swallowing his pride and calling Bobby? Yeah, things are bad. Interesting that Bobby thinks it's neurological rather than supernatural: must be really rare, in that case.

7- I TOTALLY KNEW IT WASN'T COINCIDENCE! See #4. ;)

I went with the premise that Golem's are rare because they aren't easy to create. Other supernatural creatures they battle seem to exist easily enough. This one must be made by someone. So that's my difference and why nobody is figuring it out that quickly.
