My Life Returns
INSPIRATION WEEK IS OVER! I can finally reclaim my life from the black hole that was Kappa. I'm done making keys and fleur-de-lis, writing millions of inspirational notes to new members, shuttling my little sisters' gifts back and forth, and going to practice every night of the week. Initiation went well although it left me sleep deprived. I plan on catching up on my sleep this week in between writing my huge lit paper.
The best part of the weekend though had to be the random moment before fireside. We all had on black dresses and heels and we were walking down college street to the church for the first ceremony of initiation when this random father in full auburn gear asks if we'll take a picture with his son. The kid was probably about ten years old and blushing bright red but we posed anyway. It was so random. So I've decided nothing makes me happier than walking down college street looking like I'm in a cult or coming from a funeral.
