I woke up feeling better today, which is great news for all concerned because I had to go out.
Today on the agenda was yum cha in Cabramatta with my Mum, Jo and Grandma. Mum, Jo and I were originally going to head to the City to meet my Grandma, but she decided to come down and visit us instead. We went to Vinh Phat where the food was cheap and decent. After eating, we walked around Cabra a bit with our Grandma before parting ways. Then, since we were in Cabra, my Mum decided to take Jo to the jeweller where she bought me my necklace for my 21st birthday so that Jo could get one for hers. After Jo -- and my Mum -- found something she liked, we did some grocery shopping at Cabra before heading to Woolworths at the Valley Plaza for more grocery shopping. Though who's complaing? We bought Magnums! Yummo!
Then Dom gave me a call and offered to drive to Bunnings in my Mum's car so I could finally get the table for my Lego that I've been harping on about. We picked up two of the tables and while we were there, I also bought two small light grey, light cement pots, one lemon tree, and one lime tree. I think I've got a big day of gardening ahead of me tomorrow. I might need to make another trip to Bunnings to buy some garden fencing and other things to help me dig up part of my yard.
Also, tomorrow is going to be Earth Hour. At 8:30pm, people will switch off their lights for one hour. If only I had my pergola built. Then it would be awesome with all the candle-lit mood-lighting outdoors in the summery evening (I know it's Autumn, but it sure feels like Summer). But alas construction still hasn't started. In the mean time, I'll leave you with this picture I found, which I hope will inspire me and you both.
