Post-Thanksgiving Dinner
Dinner on Saturday was a huge success! There are lots of leftovers since we had just under 50 show up and I had orginally planned for 60. That's okay, since I will get to eat it for lunch at work all week! I love Thanksgiving leftovers! I do need to apologize to kornrd, I took the camera with me, but was too tired to go get it when I finally remembered it around dessert time. Sorry! Anyway, no trouble with the ovens. I cooked all 6 turkeys at once! It was great to have the use of such a large oven. I had lots of help before and after with the preparations and cleaning up. Even so, I went back to school for 3 hours yesterday to make sure that the kitchen and cafeteria were really clean. The kitchen ladies were impressed today, they said that they couldn't even tell that anyone had been there over the weekend. So, now I am exhausted! I think I'll wait a day or two before pulling out the advent candleholders and other Christmas decorations.
