Well, I wanted to show you all a lace scarf that I finally finished. I remember starting it at the end of April, but it was giving me trouble, plus I had a lot of other knitting that I wanted to do, so I put it aside. I finished it in October and finally got around to blocking it (getting it wet, pinning it out to shape it and leaving it to dry) right before we left for Christmas. I was a gift for my MIL's birthday last week and she is here today, so she finally got to open it. Here it is:

The pattern is "Branching Out" from Knitty and I knit it on US 8 (5mm) needles with about a ½ skein of JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk in the Peacock colorway.

I think it came out pretty darn well, if I do say so myself!

Oh, they are going to the theater tonight (I'm too sick, so we turned in my ticket for the waiting list) and MIL just came out to show me that she is wearing it tonight and has pinned it with a brooch. She asked my opinion on how she should wear it. Too cute!
