ok well heres the continuation of my book, enjoy!

I was sorting through a large selection of vintage skirts in my favorite thrift store. I love to come out into the human world, mainly for their vintage clothes. I walked past a table of velvet jackets and I ran my hand across them as I passed them by, feeling the softness pass my fingers. I had just spotted a skirt, when I felt the prickle of magic creep up my skin. I turned around to see if I could find the source but saw nothing but old ladies and the store clerk. Ripping my gaze from the skirt on the rack I walked slowly to the store clerk, staying alert.

“Excuse me; did anyone in the past ten minutes walk in?” I asked the bored looking teenager, sitting behind the cash register. Not even bothering to look up from her magazine, the teenage girl said, “No, no one.” As she continued to flip through her magazine. To her I had short brown hair, non discript brown eyes and was about two feet shorter than I really am. Glamoure is the only thing that would allow me to go out into the human lands. With glamoure I can change my appearance to anyone at will. My physical self will not change but the preception of others will change to what I will it. Not every Sidhe has glamoure a I am the best in the entire court at glamoure. Having to make myself look human and nonthreatening has its down falls and one is not being taken serious. Getting slightly annoyed I slammed her magazine closed, got really close to her face and whispered to her, “would you bet your life on it?” Finally looking something other than bored the teenager said in a wavering voice, “No, I swear lady!” I threw the magazine back at her and threw my magic out from me like a sensing field and I felt someone of the Sidhe standing out side by the door. Letting go of the force field, I stumbled a little, and I sat for a second in one of the chairs to regain some of the energy that was lost to me when I sensed them.

Standing up once more I walked towards the door, gathering magic in my right hand like a ball of shimmering heat ready to through it at whom ever was waiting for me. Pushing the door open I turned to me left and was about to fling my lighting at who ever it was but a voice reached me first, “Princess Mealla, you must come with me at once.” I turned sharply to my right and at first saw nothing. I recognized that voice, it was Shadow. Letting the magic dissipate, I said out loud, “Why do you come for me Shadow?” He started to slowly appear from out of the shadows he had wrapped around himself to hide from spying eyes, and I realized I was looking too far to the left. Redirecting my gaze to him, I took a sharp intake of breath; I will never be used to his appearance.

His face was all hard angles, very masculine, except for his lips, they where the perfect kissable bow lips. But the stunning thing were his eyes, they where completely black, there where no whites to his eyes. His ankle length ebony hair sweeps around him, light as cobwebs, like a moving shadow, against the grey white starkness of his skin. He was tall and slender as all Sidhe are, but he was also toned, lean tone, as captain of the royal guard he needed every ounce of help he could get. Shadow took a step towards me and I took a step back from him, until I knew why he was here I would be cautious, Shadow is usually used for assassinations.

Shadow saw my caution and said “Princess, please, there is no time, and on my honor I have not come here to kill you.” Never knowing Shadow to break an oath or lie, for being called an oath breaker is the gravest accusation; I threw caution to the wind and followed him away from the shops. “Princess, do you mind using our animal form to get back? It would be much quicker.”
“No I do not mind, on the contrary I do not get enough occasions to use it.”

Smiling in spite of self I started to go at a run and finding my animal as it lay slumbering deep inside of me I coaxed it awake and drew it out until my Sidhe form melted away in a mist and formed back as a giant golden feathered dove, soaring into the air with ease. Next to me came the giant form of a raven, Shadow, soaring higher and higher. I let the feel of the wind rushing past and the feel of the sky underneath my wings seep into my core. I looked down and saw our forest, what is now called the dark forest, approaching, looking very small from this height. I saw Shadow start to descend so I took his lead and descended as well.

I began to transfigure back into my Sidhe form still a few feet from the ground so when I was fully transfigured back my feet would touch the ground.
