Yay
Well, looks like I jumped on the bandwagon and got a livejournal. Yay!
Also, I got a job! Not only that, but it is a good job, teaching 2 courses at a community college. One Calc 1 and one intro to statistics. I am really excited about Calc but slightly nervous about stats - I haven't actually taken a statistics class since AP stat in 10th grade. I'm sure it will work out though, intro to stat isn't that hard. Also good is that not everyone i teach is older than me (like i was afraid of). In fact, most are people who only graduated from high school last year or the year before. It's only a part-time job but it should be enough to pay the bills, and its a hell of a lot better than substitute teaching (my backup plan). So, this semester is pretty much set for me: teach two classes, take two classes at University of Delaware. Doesn't sound too bad, overall. And its still snowing!
